My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Belfry. The food was very tasty I had the Caesar salad and my partner had a lovely halloumi wrap which was a great option for a vegetarian! Our waiter (Archie I believe) was so attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Would definitely come back!

Went for two nights away, we managed to check in early and then make the most of the spa. Sophie gave me my initial 25 minute treatment and I left feeling relaxed and brand new. Then a second treatment with Rita where I was reborn. I left that room a feeling taller, and more relaxed than ever. Rita's 25years of experience go a long way

My visit was made special because of my treatment with Brenda. She was so skilled and knowledgeable. The treatments I received were frangipani scrub, muscle ease oils. The best massage I’ve had!. Would recommend and I’ll be back!

Had an amazing facial treatment by Brenda, would highly recommend this. Afternoon tea was delicious. There was a big conference taking place at the same time as we were having tea so service was a bit slow, but this wasn't the fault of the young staff who were clearly trying their best to serve the restaurant and the people at the conference. Swimming pool was ok and had nice relaxing sun loungers. Please be aware the pool is available to members not just spa guests so there were some children in the pool making alot of noise. This didn't bother me and I still managed to have a relaxing time, but some people would be very put off by this. I would definitely recommend choosing a spa package that includes a treatment as this was the best part for me. I think if I had chosen a cheaper package that was only access to the pool I might have been a bit disappointed.

Hotel is in a good location to visit Oxford in a peaceful location just off the M40. It is a little remote from nearby villages, so hotel’s facilities are only entertainment unless you’re willing to drive. It was being used by a few businesses while we were there for conferences, meetings etc but it does not affect residents that we experienced. Spa was worth a visit and is also open to members, pool, sauna, steam room and gym were in good condition with helpful staff. The restaurant was good quality evening meals where we were served by Helen who looked after us well. Breakfast was a good selection on the buffet with plenty available. Only issue we had was on arrival to our room, the bathroom door handle was hanging off and we had to get room maintenance to fix. But they turned up very quickly and had no further issues. Room was quite big enough but could do with a small fridge, but ample tea/coffee facilities.

Sophie, Demi and Caitlin were brilliant. Very helpful all night.

i had a lovely lunch at the oxford belfry a few days ago. while it was very busy staff were very helpful and were obviously working very hard. special thanks to archie who was so polite and efficient. the food did take a while but overall a great lunch out!

Had a shoulder and scalp massage by Jo on the 8th June. It was really nice and relaxing, she was very friendly and gave lots of good advice.

Rooms are very spacious and the food is excellent. Helen was very helpful and polite 🙂

Just had an amazing deep tissue massage with Brenda! She also taught me about the benefits of it in muscle healing and relaxation. Can highly recommend!

We had the most delightful stay at the Oxford Belfry. I had told the hotel in advance that it was my husband's birthday and he was treated like royalty. He was wished a Happy Birthday at check in and at a dinner where we were offered free birthday drinks and his desert had "Happy Birthday" piped on the plate. We were given a room upgrade which included a bottle of wine and complimentary drinks from the mini bar (which we actually didn't need!) I have stayed at this hotel several times now and it is the staff which makes it special. Max, on reception, was particularly helpful as were the 2 female reception staff when we checked in and out. My only criticism is that we had to wait a very long time (about 45 minutes) for our evening meal to be served. The breakfast was buffet style and had everthing that we wanted (scrambled egg would have been a welcome additon).

The bar/restaurant area was very pleasant to sit in, with delicious food, and staff who made me feel welcomed. Caitlin on the bar was very helpful during my visit, and made me feel especially comfortable and gave brilliant product recommendations from the menu.

Dumi was amazing. I would definitely suggest that she's the best.

Amazing hotel to visit lovely setting. Me and my family went for lunch and was served by a lovely young lad called Archie he was very polite and helpful! Great customer service does still exist!!

Clean warm hotel,welcoming and helpful, happy staff. Good spa facilities, enjoyed excellent brakefast everyday. Will go again.

We booked a two night break from 28th to 30th May 2026. From arrival to departure, we enjoyed a first class experience. The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of our room, the decor throughout the hotel, the spacious grounds, the ample on-site parking, the extensive spa and gym facilities and not least, the wonderful food on offer. We eagerly look forward to our next visit.
