Belfry Hotel Oxford. Helen was amazing at lunch time

Olivia made a bad meal experience acceptable. The kitchen was running way behind, but she was constantly letting us know how our meal was progressing. Well done Olivia.

The deep tissue massage was absolutely amazing and so soothing. Jo made sure i felt comfortable the entire time and the pressure was perfect.

The staff at the hotel were excellent. A shout out to Helen in the restaurant. She was so helpful and efficient.

We had an exceptional experience at dinner. The food was a high standard and we were looked after so beautifully by our waitress, Helen. Room was very nice. But the cleaning could have been better

The rooms were lovely and well appointed. We enjoyed the excellent meal in the restaurant and our server was wonderful. Her name was Helen an excellent young lady who was very attentive and well mannered a credit to the hotel.

Stayed overnight in the hotel and had dinner. Lovely room, got upgraded which was a nice surprise. Rooms and hotel areas clean, was good value for money that pool use was included in our stay. The hotel is nicely situated outside Oxford,the rooms are clean and roomy.The tranquil settings are perfect after a busy day out and about but the biggest complement is the staff, they are friendly,happy and a special mention goes to Helen in the Restaurant who was very attentive to mums allergies. Definitely consider using this hotel again

We’re currently staying at the Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa for the night, and we’ve had a lovely experience so far. The facilities have been great, and with the weather being so hot today, the pool area was the perfect place to relax and unwind. It was peaceful, well kept, and exactly what we needed. We had dinner at the restaurant this evening. Although things got off to a slightly rocky start, Helen completely changed the experience for us. From the moment she stepped in, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we were enjoying ourselves. She brought our food out promptly, checked in on us throughout the meal, and made us feel welcome without ever being overbearing. Helen was an absolute pleasure to deal with and is a real asset to the hotel. The level of service she provided stood out and made a lasting impression on us. She deserves recognition for the way she looks after guests. A big thank you to Helen and the team. We’re really enjoying our stay and look forward to the rest of it.

Max, on reception was helpful with his local knowledge in helping us to plan a morning jogging- route. It would be splendid if some thought could go into planning one within the grounds for future guests who like to enjoy the Oxfordshire countryside. Booked a deal through Travelzoo for 2 nights to meet friends midway. Expectations were not particularly high as had seen the 3.8 rating. However the whole visit was incredible value for money, from checking in by Max (what an asset he is to your front of house) to drinks in the garden, evening meal and breakfast. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean. Ours was particularly quiet, situated at the back of the hotel. All the staff were friendly and polite. It was an ideal area to visit many local attractions. Would not hesitate to visit again. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Here’s a concise but balanced review: I have been staying at the Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa on a weekly basis since September/October and continue to choose it because of the consistently excellent experience. The staff are always welcoming and professional, the accommodation is comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable. The gym and spa facilities are particularly impressive and are a real highlight of my stay. Overall, the service and facilities have been first class throughout, which is why I keep returning. My only area for improvement would be the new restaurant menu. While the food remains good, I feel the previous menu offered a better selection and was more enjoyable. I would welcome a review of the current menu, as I know I’m not alone in preferring the previous offering. Thank you to the team for making my stays so enjoyable.

I attended a work event and decided to stay an extra night. Really lovely stay. Staff on reception (shout out to Max and Sal) were courteous, professional and helpful. Our room was lovely and spacious. We made the most of the gardens and enjoyed drinks in the sun. We ate at the restaurant and Leo our server was excellent! Also very handy location if you are heading into Oxford or Bicester outlet centre.

All in all it was very nice experience staying in the hotel all the staff member was very nice and helpfull especially Helen in restaurant is a gem to the hotel.
