Spa girly break
I have just come back from an overnight spa break with my cousin and daughter. We’ve stayed here a number of times due to the perfect location. A trip to Bicester village before checking in. Our room was clean, warm and had a lovely view. Our spa treatments were amazing and we loved chilling by the pool before getting ready for dinner. Our allowance was £35 each with good menu choices, a couple of issues with my daughter’s dinner which staff dealt with. They were apologetic and helpful. Tom the operations manager was especially helpful, understanding and professional. We dealt with him a few times and he is a credit to the hotel. Wish they hadn’t have taken the pool table in the recent refurb we missed it but enjoyed card games in the bar. Breakfast was delicious and we had a good nights sleep. Will be back later in the year as usual!
excellent stay
Excellent stay . lovely to have an upgrade for a special birthday, room and bed very spaious and comfortable. very friendly helpful staff. restaurant food delicious , hotel so good we stayed an extra night. good location
Treatments amazing, spa is average
Great treatments. Ti was fantastic and a reason to return. Great knowledge & massage. Such a fruity experience. The changing room showers out of action and works ongoing, which meant it was noisy on site. That was disappointing. Overall, treatments were great, the rest was average.
Great touring location, clean, friendly, welcoming and cheerful staff throughout
Last Sunday we had a two night stay, dinner bed and breakfast to celebrate a 'big' birthday with friends who also stayed. We were impressed by the facilities at the Oxford Belfry together with the warm welcome we received on arrival and during our stay, despite it being busy. Good value, very clean. The spacious room, delicious restaurant food and team lead by Tomas made for a superb evening celebration on Monday evening. In particular, we’d like to acknowledge the excellent reception team, especially Sal who couldn’t have done any more to make our stay more enjoyable.
Perfect base for a few days when visiting the Beautiful Cotswolds
We recently stayed at the Oxford Belfry Hotel whilst visiting the beautiful Cotswolds, we were very impressed by the spacious room, delicious restaurant food and the excellent staff. The warm welcome we received on arrival was much appreciated In particular we’d like to acknowledge the excellent reception team especially Sal and Lucja who couldn’t have done any more to make our stay more enjoyable, they are both a valued asset to the Team and the Hotel. We will certainly be returning.
Very good value with excellent service
My wife and I had a birthday breakfast with our three adult children and one adult grandson. It was an excellent experience. The hotel is situated a few minutes drive from the M40 and has plenty of free car parking. The dining area and available tables were very clean. We had a range of foods and drinks which were very good quality at reasonable prices. We were served by Sam and Seth over a three hour period and their servicewas efficieent, polite and pleasnt. We have used this hotel previously and will certainly be returning.
A comfortable hotel with good facilities, but some reservations.
The location is very convenient to the motorway, and parking was easy. We stayed for 2 nights, including dinner on the first night. Our room was spacious and fairly well appointed, if a little tired (the en-suite shaving mirror was badly fitted and virtually unusable, and the rainwater shower head was clogged with limescale). The spa and pool were well appointed, and are an attractive addition to the hotel facilities. Our dinner was not a pleasant experience; our starters took 40 minutes to arrive, and were wrong, and our mains were good, but also slow to arrive, and were served without the accompanying vegetables; when we asked, we were told that the kitchen had run out of kale, and were then offered an alternative (but we had to ask)! The prices were high as well for the quality and service. Breakfasts were better, with plenty of choices, and helpful waiting staff. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, but felt disappointed with the dinner experience.
Great spa hotel and restaurant
My best friend and I always meet up for a weekend treat. My friend found this hotel deal for spa and dinner with overnight stay. It’s been a great experience and lovely staff who really look after you. Thank you to the team.
Totally relaxing 😌
My three night stay at the hotel was outstanding. The atmosphere was very friendly and the staff were helpful. My room was very big with a lot of facilities. I would say that the cost of the room was very reasonable. The food for dinner was a good variety and the bar was open for most of the day for drinks and snacks. Breakfast was oncluded on the price and again a lovely selection. I loved the spa but the only negative i would say is thete wasnt a jacuzzi. The location of the hotel was a taxi ride away from the train station. However there is not much to walk outside the hotel as it is on a main road.
Oxford Belfry Experience
Stayed for a 2 night break via Travel Zoo at the Oxford Belfry Spa Hotel. Our room was spacious and clean bed very comfortable towels lovely and fluffy. There was an extensive menu for the evening meal difficult to choose because everything sounded appetising. We were not disappointed when our meal arrived. Full marks to the chef breakfast is buffet style with hot and cold choices plus extra choice from the menu we certainly ate well we used a swimming pool steam room and sauna area which was very relaxing full marks to all the staff we met who were friendly and helpful had a lovely relaxing break and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.
Spa day/light lunch and massage
Lovely day of relaxation had a back massage by Ti and she was really good with her technique and pressure feel like all my knots in my back and she was friendly 👏🏽🙂 I had the spa day package with the lunch and that tasty too just what I needed to relax
Nice break away
We had a lovely stay, the room was very good and clean and the shower was a great walk in shower. General hotel cleanliness needed to be addressed, floors needed sweeping or hoovering but overall very good
Relaxed stay
Had a spa day and very enjoyable stay - great staff. Pleasant surroundings. Food was decent Spa treatments were good and very professional.
Calm & relaxing
Booked a weekend away for a calm escape after a manic week. Pool & spa facilities are great, and had a fantastic tension relieving massage from Brenda. Would definitely stay again.
Super relaxing and great value for money
We went for an evening to relax on the bed and breakfast deal. Room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Great bedding and super comfy mattress. We went for a swim and a steam and relaxed on loungers. The evening meal was delicious and a bargain in the total price, made even more enjoyable by the kindness and attentiveness of Anya who also helped at breakfast. We can thoroughly recommend the hotel for a getaway.
Good stay overall
The rooms were neat, clean and spacious. The hotel was overall very good but breakfast could be improved for a 4 star hotel. Parking, Spa and amenities were great
Good day
I went to The Oxford Belfry Hotel and Spa for Tea and Tranquility with 5 friends. Right from the phone call to book everyone one was so nice. We had an amazing time, the staff were great and very welcoming. The whole day was well organised and they happily catered for our needs. Afternoon tea was lovely, there was so much we couldn’t finish it all. Went home feeling very relaxed. Thank you everyone.
Overall Great stay.
overall an excellent stay. The staff are what really make this place - excellent in all areas !! Slight disappointment is that we booked a Superior room which to be honest was looking a bit tired in places.
Very Satisfactory Stay
Very happy with our stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were exceptional, both prior to booking in ensuring that the needs of an elderly guest would be met and during our stay. Would definitely stay again.
Comfortable stay in this out of the way hotel.
The room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had lots of choice. Spa was available to guests although we didn't use it. Only downside was that the hotel was quite remote.
