Oxford Belfry Review

I have to say that my stay at the Oxford Belfry has been nothing short of exceptional. Tom the manager and staff espcially Mia, Lucia, Emma, Sal are welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Helen in the restuarant alongside her sister Bridie are very good at making you feel cared for and offer a great service.

Lovely mini break

Lovely spa break, very comfortable rooms. All the staff were helpful and friendly. I would call out Helen and Olivia in the restaurant for great, attentive customer service. Pool area was hot due to the weather and the steam room wasn’t working , however massage and revitalisation spa treatment was excellent.

Great experience

Went for a Spa Break with my 2 daughters, lovely large and clean room. We all booked in for a massage. Rita was my masseuse and wow does she have strong hands, came away feeling completely refreshed. The staff at the bar and the restaurant were very friendly and helpful, a special mention to Leo our waiter, who was very friendly, polite and informative.

Birthday stay

A lovely hotel in a great location. When we arrived we were delayed by road works blocking entry to the hotel. We tried to explain the inconvenience this caused to the front desk but it fell on deaf ears (our suggestion was that upon seeing the works it would have been a good idea for staff to contact guests due to check in, to inform them of the one and only way to reach the hotel by road). Me and my partner both got a spa treatment which were very good and the spa staff were friendly and helpful. The food at dinner was of pretty good quality, I'd like to pay particular compliment to Helen who was running the restaurant tables basically by herself on the night we dined. She was doing an excellent job and was friendly and professional throughout.

Delightful stay

Delightful stay at this lovely hotel. Convenient location, which made it easy to find. Lovely atmosphere on arrival with friendly helpful staff especially on check in. Bedroom very spacious, clean and comfortable with very comfortable beds and a great shower. Swimming pool and spa area very nice too, with a well equipped gym. We enjoyed the pretty courtyard area, ideal for enjoying an evening drink or morning coffee.

Superb breakaway at a great location.

Stayed at the Oxford Belfry with friends a few weeks ago. We had taken the advantage of one of the special offers from the members club. This included afternoon tea, bottle of champagne and an evening meal. Great value. We had a wonderful experience and great service. Thanks particularly to Tanya on the front desk and the gentleman that served our afternoon tea.

Excellent venue for meetings snd conferences

Excellent facility for a conference. Location is easy to get. Room provision was just what was needed, and our group dinner was really good with great service under our waitress Helen.

Had a lovely time celebrating at the Belfry. Julie was exceptional at making sure the event ran smoothly - going above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay - and enjoying a top meal in a beautiful venue. Thank you Julie!

Great stay

Had a lovely stay at the Belfry. We came for an end of year ball to celebrate finishing our degree. Food came out lovely and hot and tasted great. All staff were extremely attentive with a special shout out to Julie. Our rooms were equipped with everything we needed and were provided fans to try and cool the rooms down! Breakfast was the traditional buffet spread but you could taste that it was all fresh! Thanks to Julie and team again for a lovely stay.

Event stay

The staff were very welcoming and made sure we had the best experience. I particularly wanted to highlight one member from the team- Julie. She went above and beyond and I will be coming back because of her! The rooms were clean and spacious. Easy to find, and plenty of parking. Lovely breakfast.

Children under 16 stay free when sharing a room with a paying adult and children aged 4 & under eat for free.

We accept dogs for a charge of £25 per dog, per stay up to a maximum of two dogs. Dog friendly stays must be booked through our Contact Centre on 0330 107 1599.

Oxford Station is only 13 miles away, and King's Cross Station is 90 minutes away.

What car parking facilities do you have?

We have 450 complimentary parking spaces available. Vehicle registration is required at check-in. Our car park is open, so please ensure you don't leave any valuables in your car. We also have 10 AC bays and 2 DC bays on site for charging electric vehicles.

Can I use the spa and gym if I’m staying in the hotel?

Guests are invited to use the Health Club facilities on a complimentary basis during their stay, between check-in at 3pm until check-out at 11am.

Access to the facilities is subject to availability and capacity at the time of use.

Spa treatments are available at an additional charge.

Is there a charge to use the health club facilities?

If you're staying with us, you're welcome to use the pool and health club facilities free of charge. There is an extra charge for any spa treatments. (Worth every penny, though, if you ask us!) If you're visiting our hotel just to use our facilities, you will need to pay a one-off fee of £25 per adult or £15 per child for all day use. Unless you have a gym membership, in which case, welcome back!
