Spa day/light lunch and massage

Lovely day of relaxation had a back massage by Ti and she was really good with her technique and pressure feel like all my knots in my back and she was friendly 👏🏽🙂 I had the spa day package with the lunch and that tasty too just what I needed to relax

Nice break away

We had a lovely stay, the room was very good and clean and the shower was a great walk in shower. General hotel cleanliness needed to be addressed, floors needed sweeping or hoovering but overall very good

Calm & relaxing

Booked a weekend away for a calm escape after a manic week. Pool & spa facilities are great, and had a fantastic tension relieving massage from Brenda. Would definitely stay again.

Super relaxing and great value for money

We went for an evening to relax on the bed and breakfast deal. Room was lovely, comfortable and clean. Great bedding and super comfy mattress. We went for a swim and a steam and relaxed on loungers. The evening meal was delicious and a bargain in the total price, made even more enjoyable by the kindness and attentiveness of Anya who also helped at breakfast. We can thoroughly recommend the hotel for a getaway.

Good stay overall

The rooms were neat, clean and spacious. The hotel was overall very good but breakfast could be improved for a 4 star hotel. Parking, Spa and amenities were great

Good day

I went to The Oxford Belfry Hotel and Spa for Tea and Tranquility with 5 friends. Right from the phone call to book everyone one was so nice. We had an amazing time, the staff were great and very welcoming. The whole day was well organised and they happily catered for our needs. Afternoon tea was lovely, there was so much we couldn’t finish it all. Went home feeling very relaxed. Thank you everyone.

Overall Great stay.

overall an excellent stay. The staff are what really make this place - excellent in all areas !! Slight disappointment is that we booked a Superior room which to be honest was looking a bit tired in places.

Very Satisfactory Stay

Very happy with our stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were exceptional, both prior to booking in ensuring that the needs of an elderly guest would be met and during our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Comfortable stay in this out of the way hotel.

The room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had lots of choice. Spa was available to guests although we didn't use it. Only downside was that the hotel was quite remote.

Wonderful stay - will come again

Wonderful time away. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, food was delicious and breakfasts had a huge range. V Comfortable room. Lovey area. We will be back! Spa was also lovey with steam room and sauna and a very professional and personalised massage by Ti was a highlight - v much recommend her to help unwind and de-stress from every day life

Spa day treat with friends

Excellent spa day experience, good facilities and treatments. Special mention to Millie in the restaurant for her outstanding service. Afternoon tea was delicious and plentiful.

2 night break

Excellent couple of days stay with Travelzoo deal - £35 pp towards meal in restaurant and bottle of wine in room, on arrival. Room nice with fairly standard decor. Complimentary drinks in fridge. Only drawback - room was very warm - reported and engineer attended promptly. All staff extremely courteous and professional but at the same time friendly. Nice grounds for walking in, very well planted. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room lovely. Everywhere very clean. Lots of EV charge points with no need to wait. Very positive experience - thank you.

Perfect stay- wish it could have been longer!

I stayed for one night here on a spa break. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa treatment was really relaxing and very professionally done. The pool is a lovely size and warm. I loved the glass ceiling and being able to see red kites flying overhead. I tried out the sauna and steam room which were great. Loungers by the pool were comfy and plenty of them. The spa package included £35 towards dinner (which was delicious) and free breakfast (which was excellent and so filling I didn't need any lunch), with a good coffee machine. The room I stayed in was immaculately clean, bed and pillows really comfy and amenities excellent (mini bar, nespresso machine). My only suggestions for improvements to my stay - there's only one changing cubicle in the ladies changing room at the spa- a couple more would be good; and given there's a fridge in the bedroom, provision of fresh milk for the coffee/tea wouldn't go amiss. I hope I can come and stay at this hotel again as its lovely. The hotel isn't easily accessible by public transport - a taxi from Oxford City centre set me back around £40 each way. But the benefit of this isolation was the beautiful surrounding countryside and silence. Bliss.

Spa day

Went for a lovely spa day and the spa package was amazing. Lovely lunch and we were served by Ali who was absolutely great! I had a lovely lady doing my spa treatment, Jo. She was so lovely and I would definitely recommend her. Altogether a wonderful time and helped by wonderful people

Best Scalp Massage at the Spa

3 of us went to the spa here at the end of a hen weekend to unwind. Such good value for money for entry to spa, a light lunch and a 25min treatment. I had a shoulder neck and scalp massage by Brenda and holy moly was it good. Brenda has magic hands, I never even knew I was so tense in my scalp. If you like a strong massage Brenda is your girl! So lovely and friendly too.

Enjoyable stay, with swimming pool

Friendly, welcoming staff. Clean, well cared for area. Also bathrooms clean and well looked after. Rooms spacious. We went as anniversary treat. Hotel staff had shaped towels as swans, spread red petals on the bed and there was also an anniversary card on yhe bed. We were impressed..i only mentioned it in passing, while i was doing the booking! The swimming pool is lovely and warm. You dont need to book to use pool, you can go any time. Steam room and sauna to enjoy too. Food in restaurant tasty, service quick. Plentiful breakfast, all you can eat. All staff in restaurant friendly, helpful, welcoming. We really enkoyed our stay at the oxford belfry hotel.

Children under 16 stay free when sharing a room with a paying adult and children aged 4 & under eat for free.

We accept dogs for a charge of £25 per dog, per stay up to a maximum of two dogs. Dog friendly stays must be booked through our Contact Centre on 0330 107 1599.

Oxford Station is only 13 miles away, and King's Cross Station is 90 minutes away.

What car parking facilities do you have?

We have 450 complimentary parking spaces available. Vehicle registration is required at check-in. Our car park is open, so please ensure you don't leave any valuables in your car. We also have 10 AC bays and 2 DC bays on site for charging electric vehicles.

Can I use the spa and gym if I’m staying in the hotel?

Guests are invited to use the Health Club facilities on a complimentary basis during their stay, between check-in at 3pm until check-out at 11am.

Access to the facilities is subject to availability and capacity at the time of use.

Spa treatments are available at an additional charge.

Is there a charge to use the health club facilities?

If you're staying with us, you're welcome to use the pool and health club facilities free of charge. There is an extra charge for any spa treatments. (Worth every penny, though, if you ask us!) If you're visiting our hotel just to use our facilities, you will need to pay a one-off fee of £25 per adult or £15 per child for all day use. Unless you have a gym membership, in which case, welcome back!
