I had the day off from work on monday 10 Aug, and on the spur of the moment I decided to spend the day at a spa. I mostly wanted to use the pool , read my book, have some lunch and just have a change of scenery. The Oxford Belfry came up on my search and I called. The lady on spa reception was really helpful, she said that for £50 I could use the spa area , pool, have lunch with a glass of proseco and a 25 minute shoulder, neck and scalp massage. It far exceeded my expectations. The hotel was quiet, spotless, well maintained and decorated and all the staff were friendly and helpful . The only small thing that made me give 4 out of 5 for my experience was that the pool area has a glass room.it was sweltering . I wanted to stay for about 4 hrs but I left early because I developed a headache and felt a bit unwell. I dont blame the hotel , we are having exceptional weather conditions, but there seemed not to be enough air in the pool area. It was uncomfortably hot, but I will definitely go again . I thoroughly recommend the hotel and Spa

I had a lovely breakfast with my partner and was waited on by Archie. He bought my pancakes and porridge in a very quick and helpful manner. He was fantastic and went above and beyond. What a gentleman!!

I would have given 5 stars but for 2 factors. First the confusing layout of this large hotel and poor signage. For the first time ever I got so lost that I had to ask a passing housekeeper to guide me to my room Second, while the public areas of the hotel are air conditioned, the bedrooms are not. We were there on the hottest day of the year. Fortunately we were on the northeast side of the hotel so the temperature in the room was bearable. That said, the room and bathroom were large and comfortable, the breakfast excellent, and the staff friendly and efficient. I used the pool, sauna, and steam room which were very clean with an excellent changing room. There is plenty of free parking.

I had the most amazing massage with Brenda. Genuinely one of the best massages I have ever had! She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I honestly cannot praise her enough. An absolutely fabulous experience. I will definitely be back .!

Perfectly situated for visiting local areas, relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Staff were brilliant, very helpful and friendly. It was our second stay there and they upgraded us to a super room. We very much enjoyed the evening meal too. Just about to make another booking. We're only 40 mins drive away but it's deal for a night away

Lovely express facial with Jo. The pool was clean and a nice length and the spa lounge had herbal tea and water available.

Had a fabulous two night break, Helen in the restaurant was very attentive, friendly and helpful, especially when her team were short staffed.

Great stay accommodation and facilities excellent as is restaurant. Shout out to Helen our waitress who was very attentive and helpful

I had a lovely massage with Brenda, she was unbelievable. Definitely will be back.

very good value for money, jo was excellent and gave great advice on what i should do regarding my tension on my back that i should invest in massage pillow

I had good spa treatment from Jo and also good service by waiter Joshua and waitress Maddi very good

Had a great experience for lunch extremely clean and well presented, our waiter archie was fabulous, well spoken and extremely polite. Me and the family will definitely be visiting again!

Archie from the restaurant made this a good stay. I encountered a problem with an overcharge from the restaurant on leaving the hotel. The receptionist said I was wrong however I explained it was a special. I returned to the restaurant and Archie in a mature manner above his age offered to sort the issue. He was very customer focused and a credit to the restaurant. H

Went for a spa day at the Oxford belfry today. Facility’s were wonderful. The girl at the desk was so lovely. Had a lovely deep tissue massage from a lovely lady Alissa. She was amazing. Then had an amazing lunch. Archie was the best he served us our lunch and he was so welcoming and kind bringing great customer service. Overall an amazing experience. Will deffo be coming back!!!
