We stayed as part of the Cotswold Soul Weekender and this was the first time the event was held at this hotel. The staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough to ensure we were all looked after. One suggestion would be tip jars on the bars as they worked their socks off!

We stayed here for one night with their spa and dinner package. The dinner & breakfast were delicious and everything was clean & staff were so willing to help. But the standout star was Victoria in the spa - I had a shoulders, neck, and back massage and it was fantastic. She was so lovely and made me feel so comfortable. The massage was absolutely phenomenal I will definitely come back.

Had a massage in the Spa with Jo, she was utterly brilliant! Best back, shoulder and neck massage I’ve ever had. Also gave great tips for self-care and relaxation. Couldn’t recommend enough, will definitely be back! Hotel in general was lovely, great food and excellent staff.

I would like to compliment every member of staff for their friendliness and helpfulness at the recent Soul weekend event at the hotel. Everything was excellent, rooms, food, assistance and if I could give 6 out 5 I would. A big thank you to you all. Michael

This was our first visit to this hotel and our experience was absolutely fantastic from the moment we arrived. Reception staff were really helpful and from there on in every member of staff could not do enough to help. Rooms were clean and spacious with good facilities and nice big beds. The restaurant staff were great on all the occasions we visited over the weekend and the food was lovely with a good choice every time. We used the spa pool and sauna while we were there which was a nice addition to our weekend, my wife also managed to have a massage in the Spa on Sunday. On a personal level my experience was made special by every member of staff I interacted with over the weekend including cleaners, bar staff, receptionists, catering and the lovely cleaning managers who were carrying out their audit on Sunday morning who stopped to chat and make sure everything was ok . I must mention that I spoke several times to a lovely lady called Ali who was waitressing in the reception area lounge during Saturday and again in the restaurant on Sunday morning. She was so happy and friendly yet professional at all times, she asked us if everything was ok with our stay and to let her know if there was anything she could do, she made us feel special and also commented on what a nice crowd of people we were with. We had only booked to stay on Friday and Saturday night however we then extended our stay to include the Sunday night too. Although we were there for an event I would not hesitate to stay there again in the future and will recommend the hotel to friends and family.

had the best weekend ,rooms were clean and lovely, the food was outstanding ,but for me the best bit were the staff ,everyone was so helpful on reception ,in restaurant ,in the spa and behind the bar all friendly and really helpful it really made my stay a better experience

Ali and the chef in the restaurant was a real asset to the team. She was absolutely fantastic in helping my mum, who has a nut allergy. Ali went above and beyond to make sure everything was okay and went smoothly. Thank you, Ali and the chef for everything, making an amazing breakfast. However the coffee machine at breakfast seem to have a mine off it’s own it didn’t dispense what it asked for.

Very comfortable room and bed. Excellent options at breakfast. Used the spa and pool daily - outside the chidlren's times and it was a realxing experience and added to the break when the weather outside was cold and wet.

We had a fantastic weekend at the Cotswolds soul weekender. The Hotel was lovely, spotless and the staff were amazing, from reception to cleaners kitchen, dining and bar staff. They bent over backwards to accommodate us all, It was my birthday during our stay and we got a lovely suite room, which was decorated and a gift of chocolates and a card was a lovely surprise and I was touched. We used the pool facilities which were great as well and I used the spa for a treatment. It was a truly memorable weekend. One of the bar staff was exceptional as she tried to stop a beer keg exploding and they all worked incredibly hard all weekend - always smiling and helpful. The food was delicious too, and well thought out with differing times to choose from. Really enjoyed it! We will be back!!

The customer service from reception and restaurant manager (and everyone else) was WONDERFUL and we felt extremely Well looked after from the moment we arrived. We were given an upgrade to superior rooms which are fantastic… The sauna and spa were lovely, just enough time to enjoy in our little spa break followed by an excellent dinner with fab service and they brought my sister out a birthday treat of four desserts (which we had not asked for!) …so thoughtful. A good nights sleep and very good gym session this morning. Everything was just right! Thank you.

We were welcomed to a peaceful, clean and friendly hotel. Staff had our room upgraded as it was our 25th anniversary and we found thoughtful surprises in our room. The room was spacious, with a very comfortable bed so we slept well as it was peaceful at night. The shower room was clean and as good as new, the toiletries provided were especially lovely. The spa facilities were compact yet thoughtful. The pool, sauna and stream rooms were a treat. The help yourself cooked breakfast was great and further items could be individually requested too. The staff in the restaurant were all kind and keen to ensure we had a good experience. Plenty of car parking was available at the front of the hotel. Towels, hairdryer, iron and board were all in our room.

We were upgraded to a Suite - the room was beautiful, clean, light & housekeeping had arranged heart shaped towels with petals on the bed, absolutely fabulous touch. Peaceful & quiet which was perfect. Staff in the spa, bar & at breakfast were very helpful, nothing was too much. Reception team were exactly what you needed, helpful, friendly, really welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better stay

Our day started not as well as found the reception lady quite rude. After that lunch was excellent very friendly staff. 1.30 back massage and facial very relaxing. Dinner excellent a lovely young lady served us she was very friendly and good conversation really enjoyed.

Attended a music event at The Oxford Belfry , this event had previously been run elsewhere. I found the room to be excellent , the staff were ultra helpful & friendly , and the food was superb

I haven’t been for a spa day in a long time and I wanted to treat my mum to a good pamper for her birthday and honestly it was absolutely delightful! The food was so delicious! Rita who carried out my massage was so good, made me feel so relaxed. The overall day has been absolutely lovely! I will be coming back
