Excellent couple of days stay with Travelzoo deal - £35 pp towards meal in restaurant and bottle of wine in room, on arrival. Room nice with fairly standard decor. Complimentary drinks in fridge. Only drawback - room was very warm - reported and engineer attended promptly. All staff extremely courteous and professional but at the same time friendly. Nice grounds for walking in, very well planted. Swimming pool, sauna and steam room lovely. Everywhere very clean. Lots of EV charge points with no need to wait. Very positive experience - thank you.

I stayed for one night here on a spa break. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spa treatment was really relaxing and very professionally done. The pool is a lovely size and warm. I loved the glass ceiling and being able to see red kites flying overhead. I tried out the sauna and steam room which were great. Loungers by the pool were comfy and plenty of them. The spa package included £35 towards dinner (which was delicious) and free breakfast (which was excellent and so filling I didn't need any lunch), with a good coffee machine. The room I stayed in was immaculately clean, bed and pillows really comfy and amenities excellent (mini bar, nespresso machine). My only suggestions for improvements to my stay - there's only one changing cubicle in the ladies changing room at the spa- a couple more would be good; and given there's a fridge in the bedroom, provision of fresh milk for the coffee/tea wouldn't go amiss. I hope I can come and stay at this hotel again as its lovely. The hotel isn't easily accessible by public transport - a taxi from Oxford City centre set me back around £40 each way. But the benefit of this isolation was the beautiful surrounding countryside and silence. Bliss.

Went for a lovely spa day and the spa package was amazing. Lovely lunch and we were served by Ali who was absolutely great! I had a lovely lady doing my spa treatment, Jo. She was so lovely and I would definitely recommend her. Altogether a wonderful time and helped by wonderful people

3 of us went to the spa here at the end of a hen weekend to unwind. Such good value for money for entry to spa, a light lunch and a 25min treatment. I had a shoulder neck and scalp massage by Brenda and holy moly was it good. Brenda has magic hands, I never even knew I was so tense in my scalp. If you like a strong massage Brenda is your girl! So lovely and friendly too.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Clean, well cared for area. Also bathrooms clean and well looked after. Rooms spacious. We went as anniversary treat. Hotel staff had shaped towels as swans, spread red petals on the bed and there was also an anniversary card on yhe bed. We were impressed..i only mentioned it in passing, while i was doing the booking! The swimming pool is lovely and warm. You dont need to book to use pool, you can go any time. Steam room and sauna to enjoy too. Food in restaurant tasty, service quick. Plentiful breakfast, all you can eat. All staff in restaurant friendly, helpful, welcoming. We really enkoyed our stay at the oxford belfry hotel.

Just returned from two night stay at this hotel with my husband. The food was excellent. We dined in the hotel both evenings. The breakfast selection was also excellent. The staff were numerous and very pleasant and helpful. The beds were comfortable. We had to ask for more towels as only one hand towel and one bath towel was supplied for two people. The room was ok but lacked storage for clothing. One cupboard had hangers and hanging space but only two open shelves near the floor. I felt this was poor and very awkward. Also the flush button for the toilet was almost impossible to use. Room 126. Hotel very busy so quite noisy.

We had a lovely spa day at the Oxford Belfry hotel. The Elemis rebalancing ritual was very relaxing and left us with glowing skin. We had a delicious lunch in the restaurant and Caitlin our lovely waitress was very attentive and made it very special.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at the Oxford Belfry and it was a great experience. The reception staff were most helpful and we were well looked after in the restaurant. Our table was decorated with anniversary keepsakes and we were delighted to receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco, such a nice touch and deeply appreciated. The menu choices for dinner in the restaurant were adequate and we enjoyed the food and service on two occasions. The hearty breakfasts were both excellent in both quantity and quality. Our room was very spacious and just perfect for our requirements. All in all, we had a wonderful stay at the Belfry, the staff were very attentive and helpful. We will certainly recommend the Belfry to our friends and will definitely be back in the future. The Belfry provided us with the perfect getaway and was excellent value for money.

My girlfriend and I recently visited the spa to celebrate our one-year anniversary, followed by a light lunch. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The facilities were excellent and pleasantly uncrowded, which made for a very relaxing visit. The lunch was fantastic, and the massage and body exfoliation provided by Brenda were truly exceptional. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough.

Booked an overnight spa break as a birthday celebration. On arrival check in was smooth and we were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite which was amazing. The food in the restaurant was reasonably priced and excellent portion sizes. Leo our server was amazing and so attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble. We each had a spa experience and my therapist Jo was fantastic. She gave plenty of helpful advice and was extremely knowledgeable. Overall a fantastic night away. The only minor downside was a 430am fire alarm but this was dealt with fantastically by the staff who kept us informed and were handing out foil blankets to keep people warm.

We spent a couple of days meeting up with 10 college mates from 60 years ago in Oxford. The room we had was a deluxe and adequate for our stay. Had everything we would require, hand and shower gel fixed to the wall, obviously you need to upgrade to get individual bottles. The room and bathroom very clean and with addition of coffee/tea making, iron and ironing board and hairdryer. I made my friends’ day when I grumbled to them how short the flex was on the hair dryer, only to be told it was retractable! Maybe a label attached to its bag would help “dumbos “ like me. It gave us all a laugh when I re- enacted drying my hair kneeling on the floor close to the plug!! Mealtimes: We had a bar lunch and booked evening meal on our day of arrival. (Sunday) Both were extremely slow, with both lunch snacks and dinner being delivered to our table spasmodically. Not so bad at lunchtime, but some of us had nearly finished before some had received their main course. We decided to have evening bar snacks, the following evening, as the hotel was extremely busy, and these were very good. The breakfasts were the star of the show, an excellent buffet, plenty of choice. Throughout our stay we found the staff to be efficient and friendly.

I was somewhat apprehensive booking this for my partner's birthday, due to some of the reviews published. I really shouldn't have been worried, as we had a wonderful experience and really enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a lovely spacious room, had chocolates left on the bed and were also offered complimentary drinks! The extra touches were so thoughtful and made my partner's birthday extra special. We both had massages booked in and I have to say they were so relaxing and added to the whole experience. The spa staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and it was absolutely delicious, the food was excellent and again the staff were amazing. There are a couple of minor negatives (pool needs a bit of attention and some sort of generator sound woke us in the early hours) but the good far outweighs the smallest isuues of bad. The thing that makes this hotel a great place to stay, are the staff, they are all amazing, friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. They deserve high praise indeed.

Everything you would expect for an enjoyable short stay. Comfortable room, swimming pool and sauna, plenty of breakfast choices and a good restaurant.

Good hotel, definitely need a car though. Rooms are nice, ours was a little warm, unsure if air-conditioning was available. We were very fortunate and had a free upgrade - a lovely little bonus - big room, clean, good bathroom also clean. Bar and restaurant are both nice - food at both is very good - although drinks prices are a tad high. Restaurant is a bit under staffed at breakfast, if busy getting a clear table can be a challenge. But all staff are really friendly and helpful (both Seth and Emma were brilliant). We also used the spa - the lounge is lovely and the pool and sauna are also both good.
