My partner and I stayed at The Oxford Belfry Hotel & Spa for the weekend of January 31st – February 1st, 2026, and I can confidently say it was one of the most magical experiences we've had. I had planned to propose during our stay, and I reached out to the hotel beforehand to see if there was anything they could do to make our weekend extra special. Little did I know, they went above and beyond my expectations! Upon arrival, we were blown away that they had upgraded us to one of their stunning suites, complete with a chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us. The moment we walked into the room, we were struck by the luxury, space, and sheer comfort it offered. The suite was beautifully appointed with soft, comfortable bedding and refreshing room amenities. The high-quality soaps and hand creams provided in the bathroom were a lovely touch. The service throughout the weekend was excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests. Whether it was checking us in or helping with any requests, everyone was eager to ensure we had the best possible experience. Dining at the Spires Restaurant was also a highlight of our stay. The food options were varied, and everything we tried was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were great—attentive without being intrusive. We did encounter a minor issue with the electrical mains in our room after midnight, and there was a slight drip from one of the fixtures. However, we informed reception the next morning, and the staff resolved the issue quickly and with no fuss. It was a small blip on an otherwise flawless experience. The breakfast the next morning was also outstanding, with plenty of options ranging from a hearty full English to lighter continental choices. There was no shortage of beverages either, and everything was of excellent quality. Overall, our weekend at The Oxford Belfry was nothing short of magical. The team went out of their way to make this proposal weekend unforgettable, and we will forever cherish the memories. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. A huge thank you to the entire team for making this special moment even more remarkable! We’ll certainly be returning in the future!

The massage spa itself is great. I had a deep tissue massage from Brenda and she was very respectful, calming, kind and knowledgeable. The massage packages are reasonably priced and the rooms are super clean. I would recommend this to everyone who needs a massage.

The hotel and facilities are really lovely and clean. I had a massage with Bindita and it was incredible.. very different and super relaxing. There was a large event on while we were visiting which meant we did wait quite a while for our food, but the staff were great in keeping us informed and got us a drink while we waited.
